Who We Are

The Beulahland Christian Academy at the Greater Beulah Missionary Baptist Church was launched by Pastor Anthony L. Willis, Sr. and Dr. Patricia S. Willis on April 4, 2016.

On April 4, 2016, Beulahland Christian Academy opened its doors and hearts to the families of Jacksonville to provide their children with the city’s best early learning experiences. The center is funded through parent fees, student vouchers from the State and Local Early Learning Coalitions, grants for the Office of Early Learning, and Donations. 100% of these funds are allocated to the activities that support Beulahland Christian Academy.

Beulahland Christian Academy has provided opportunities for high-quality early learning educational experiences for the children in our church’s northside community, and children of the Greater Jacksonville community at large. We teach the State of Florida’s pre-kindergarten standards and curriculum from Birth to 5 years of age, along with biblical principles in a loving, caring, and age-appropriate Christian environment. Children engage in activities that include: Emergent Literacy, Reading, Writing, Number Sense, Social Emotional Learning, Art, Music, Inside/Outside Play, and Dramatic Play. Additionally, we provide enrichment activities and resources for parents and families that support and promote healthy family learning experiences for the parents and children who attend our early learning center. We continue to strive to live up to our academy’s motto which is: Beulahland is an early learning center, “Where We Inspire Little Ones to Love God and Love Learning.”

The Beulahland Christian Academy is located in facilities designated for Beulahland on the property of our church, Greater Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 9550 Ribault Ave. Jacksonville, FL. 32208.

Beulahland continues to be funded through parent fees, student vouchers from the State and Local Early Learning Coalitions, grants for the Office of Early Learning, and Donations. 100% of these funds are allocated to the activities that support Beulahland Christian Academy.

Vision and Mission

To provide an opportunity for a high-quality early learning educational experience for the children of the Greater Beulah Church and the Greater Beulah Church Community, the Northside Jacksonville Community, and the City of Jacksonville at large. Emphasis is placed on an age-appropriate, standards-based, engaging academic curriculum alongside sound, kid-friendly training in the Christian principles necessary for the social, emotional, and physical development of healthy, happy, academically successful young people in Christ.

At Beulahland Christian Academy we believe Every Child deserves and has a right to a high-quality Education. When we invest in our Children, we not only invest in their future, but we also invest in our futures.

We support the USDOE’s Pre School for All Initiative which states:

“Expanding access to high-quality early childhood education is among the smartest investments that we can make. Research has shown that the early years in a child’s life—when the human brain is forming—represent a critically important window of opportunity to develop a child’s full potential and shape key academic, social, and cognitive skills that determine a child’s success in school and in life.”
